Europe: Code of Practice Signed by EDRA Board

During the last meeting of the EDRA Board in Brussels, the EDRA Code of Practice on Responsible and Sustainable Supply Chains for the Home Improvement Industry was signed. This Code of Practice sets a common standard across the members’ supply chains, with a focus on fair working conditions, protecting human rights and environmental best practice.

John Herbert, General Secretary of EDRA/GHIN, commented “I am delighted that the EDRA Board Members have now signed the Code of Practice as I believe that our EDRA/GHIN members are dedicated to taking responsible action in protecting the environment and ensuring fair conditions to all our business partners.”

The Code of Practice is an initiative of the DIY Platform, in which EDRA/GHIN members collaborate on sustainability challenges within their shared supply chains.
